 Hi from Tz,

As you can see right our mercy ministry project department has been blessed with a vehicle- here carrying hundreds of mossie nets out to the Karanse project. Godsave is also helping friends from a church down south in W. Australia build a new house for a widow from the village of Likamba- they are starting on the foundation right now. Two orphan twin babies are being looked after after their mother died recently.

We also working on sponsorship for this little girl Selina for a few months- I think friends of Kirstys are going to help- thankyou!!

I am really blessed by what is happening in our unity building work. This months Arusha Pastors Prayer Fellowship showed a growth in the brothers that was such and encouragement.

I felt like there was a graduation from child to young man. Jones and I visited the pastors at Ngarenaibor last week- they too are growing together though unfortunately one key denomination is staying away on their own. Still, our God is gracious and we all have to find Him in reality in our own ways. We pray they come to the realisation that as the church there works together, it will help the Lord be able to bless the people of the village. Maybe later when our friends from Australia join them again He can use them to bring them together.

The Karanse school was blessed with a very profitable trip from  Bobby Scott, Lisa, Ellie and Mo from Perimeter. Thanks for coming guys…. I know it was a strategic trip for the future of the school at Karanse. Soon we have surprise visit from Jon and Candace from US- they found us on the net and independently through a friend as well- so hows that! They are praying about how to work into Tz because they have about four different project ideas in mind- one is with our work here with the AIDS ministry and our school plans. So pray His will be done!

While on the subject of prayer, pray for us for other missionaries to join us in a administration capacity. AS you all know, things have grown a lot this last 18 months and I am getting a bit tied up with admin tasks. Or pray we find support for a well trained local person to help us in this capacity- they would need to have some overseas experience as far as understanding the intricaties of the strange western ways and culture!!

Finally, here is a little excerpt from Gidoris news update from our trip to Merurani- the only place in the world where Tanzanite is mined…. And a place rife with AIDS… it shows how many of our ministry departments are integrated and we praise God for staff who are so ready to work together….

Pastor Somi, Chairman of the Pastors Fellowship, who was the former student of Mike at Joshua Foundation was very glad to introduce us to the group of Pastors over there. We started discussing various issues and how Imara Ministry Foundation can help them. Lyndall demonstrated a little bit about how they teach AIDS in their Ministry. Pastors were happy with the way she presented the materials professionally with the flips and an umbrella. “Yes, this is just an introduction, we have a complete syllabus for this and we are willing to come to teach in this area” Sister Esther concluded to them after Lyndall sat down. Straight away they plan for the dates for the AIDS Ministry to come in Mererani”

We have so much to share with you but I hope this gives you some snippets at least!
Bless you all very much. Please continue to pray for us and give as you are able.

Mike & Lyndall
