Greetings and blessings from Lyndall and I in I am going to write a quick note to let you know we are alive
and kicking over here. Sorry it won’t be as normal. I was sick for nearly
3 weeks with malaria and 3-4 other things and got knocked up a bit by it. Got
behind a bit as a result. But firing on all fours again now so thank you to all
who were praying for us over the past 3 weeks.
Please pray with us for Eliyuko. He has been helping us for
about a year now on and off and we just managed to give him a full time job.
But yesterday he suddenly vomited and had a mini stroke. We think it is AIDS
manifesting its ugly head since he is HIV positive. He is a wonderful man and we
really don’t want to loose him!! The
sickness I came down with came immediately after a wonderful conference at
Mbeya [100kms from “While I was there it came home with a
lot of force how the Christians of the country need to repent before God and
live truly Godly lives if they are not to be swept around by the waves Also while I was
there I was thinking how John Wesley turned the country of
Lyndalls team are going well and they have another group of health
worker trainees about to graduate this Saturday. Testimonies coming in from
past graduates are really encouraging with thousands being touched throughout We have a lady, Brenda, coming from Scotsdale have just have 340 children sponsored in a Mairowa Maasai
village and we are about to put a pump into that same
village. We are hoping they will learn how to grow some crops with irrigation.
The pastor and his wife have the vision and I am confident it will happen. I
see Onions, Onions, Onions!! [we shall see] I am going to go. We have a team working with us into
Mbulu with 270 -300 pastor and womens leaders so be praying with us as you are
able. Bwana
Asifiwe! [Praise the
LORD!!]. Mike and
Lyndall PS Since writing this, we have just come back from Mbulu…. It
was great! 280-300 came they were really hungry and receptive. We are expecting
there will be many discipleship groups Lyndall and Esther were able
to visit there HIV/AIDS students there and went to several AIDS victims while
…. Several cried because they bothered to visit with them. Eliyuko
is at home and starting to be able to walk again but needs a miracle from the
Lord. Peter
and Sharon are going well…. Pray with them too when you think of them.
They both have jobs here now and are going very well and it’s a joy to
see them together. |
